Hi there, wanted to check in and say hello and give you all a quick update. I'm hoping that folks still find the blog interesting and that we're not putting you to sleep.
My Aunt and Uncle are here to visit and attend my Mom's memorial service which will take place this Sunday, April 6th. My brother, Tony and his partner John will be here on Thursday. I'm looking forward to spending time with all of them.
I'm hoping the weather will be similar to what we all enjoyed today....lots of sunshine.
As for me, I'm doing well. Continuing to have physical therapy on the left leg and right wrist. Working on the prosthetic leg to try and get this new one more comfortable. From what I'm reading the fitting of these devices is not an exact science and patience needs to be the operative word. For those of you that know me patience is not a virtue I have ever been known for.

Laurie Sorensen is flying out in a few weeks. Her and I are going to drive to Blackhawk and spend the night....now that is a good rumor! Blackhawk is a great low key gambling town....cha ching!
