Saturday afternoon,

Well another week successfully completed in the physical therapy division. Marta continues to improve and gain confidence. The left hand is coming along very well, other than the lack of strength we are very happy. The right hand is work in progress, limited wrist movement and a lot of numbing in the hand especially areas around the thumb. Some of this is expected as the right forearm is loaded with parts, mostly metal and the ensuing pressure is the root of the problem. Work will continue and the Slocum therapy group is hard at it.

Marta continues to take some time to walk and ride in her chair. Long walks are in the future. Marta did get the next generation right foot prosthesis this week. It needs more fitting and she will be back to have this work done Monday. Hoping that the fit will improve as it is pretty uncomfortable today. Good days and some not so good. Look for her on Dancing with the Stars (probably have a different partner) when she gets the 3rd fitting later this spring. I'm of to see Arthur Murray........................

Tomorrow Marta will be busy planning son Michael's 19th birthday party Tuesday. First we need to get Doug Raschio's birthday under our belt Monday.

Talk to you soon,

Ed
