Good Morning! I wanted to acknowledge and thank members (past and present) of the Lane County Sheriff's Office for the retirement gathering they provided me on Monday, August 4th.
I was, and still am humbled and overwhelmed at seeing so many old friends and colleagues from the County. Sheriff Burger, thank you for your presentation and lovely shadow box you gave me on behalf of the department. The crystal bridge that the County Commissioners gives it's employees is out of the box and sitting on our desk in our home office. It is beautiful and a nice memento of my years of service with the County.
It was a wonderful event, one that I will never forget. Thank you to all who attended.

Hi Marta! I wish I could have attended your retirement gathering but I was working in dispatch and unable to leave. I hear it was a very nice celebration of your career and full of familiar faces. Even though I couldn't be there in person, I was there in spirit and I'm so happy that you are doing so well!
