Hi there, are you hot enough! I thought today was supposed to be cooler, but guess not. My poor flowers are really starting to look ragged.
Today was a busy one. I had physical therapy on both the legs and wrist. I continue to gain strength and balance. There are so many people up at the outpatient place at Sacred Heart that are worse off then I am I leave there each visit feeling very fortunate, regardless of my struggles. I'm now working towards getting a second leg/foot so the whole trial and error deal begins again. I wear it for a few days, report back to the prosthetic guy, adjustments occur, wear it again, etc. I will be seeing this guy much longer then any of the doctors and therapists. I'm trying to walk and stand on my right leg more so the pain and discomfort are increasing depending on the day. Still I'm able to go about my daily business fairly easy and of course loving it that I can drive on my own.
The wrist surgeon is hoping that when I get the 6" plate out mid to late September that perhaps by range of motion will increase. He isn't counting on it but remains hopeful.
Nothing else too newsy other then trying to keep cool and enjoying the kids home even though there both so busy we don't see them much.
Peace & Friendship

Hi Marta-
Still checking on you! Your progress is amazing....as you always were.
I am coming to Eugene in Aug to visit my sister and Mom.
Brice put in his resignation letter. He is retiring as a Cpt in Sept. He decided to stay on and work the Democratic National Convention in Aug. It is going to be a zoo here during that week.
Just wanted to let you know that you are still in my thoughts.
