Tuesday eve,
Holly crap..............I think I have finally caught my breath. Yes, I figured what ever Marta wanted on Mothers Day we would do, no questions asked it was what would happen.
Driving, yep, I said if you want. What could it hurt, Marta, a Chrysler Town & Country Van open parking lot ( supplied by Jeff Lansdon) moments of driving and we would be off to a safer arena. Buy some flowers, go take a walk, not on your life................
I parked and turned over he helm, pretty amazing my first ride at 2 G's in a soccer moms rig. What a start, hello Taladagga Nights. Holy crap the back of the lot,,,,OOP's my body now feels like a crash test dummy the brakes are unbelieveable. Thanks Les Schwab. We make a sweeping turn, hello NASCAR now we are trying to park. Safe. No motion, I'm trying to focus.
Yes, we were successful, Marta can drive, we still have a few things to work out (starting & stopping) but independence is only a new set of tires away. I am confident.
All kidding aside. we continue to move our lives back on track. We will continue to practice driving and getting Marta the oppertunity to have more independence.
Happy Mothers Day to all of you, a little late ( I'm still dizzy ) to all of the moms that have had a possitive impact on our home and lives these last few months.
Talk to you soon, Ricky Bobby.
