Hi there, well, today is my second full month home. Quite a few changes over the past two months. Early to mid March got the boot off of the left leg. That was huge in terms of feeling more confident going up and down our stairs. The first part of April got all of the bolts and screws out of the left foot and ankle. Chris at Slocum took the cast off on the right wrist which really has given me the ability to write (a little) and type some on the computer.

I want to thank my friends and family for all the many trips to Slocum and Sacred Heart for the physical therapy appointments. I am according to the doctors way ahead of schedule and that's due to the physical therapy ( and maybe my stubborn streak).

Not much new this week other then appointments and lunch out with friends (yeah).

Mother's Day is coming and I will remember my mom with love and affection (and a few tears I'm sure). For those of you who didn't know Carol she was one heck of a gal.
