Saturday 1-5-2007 Morning

Marta is doing a little better this morning, leaving her alone and making her rest was a good thing. We will probably still watch the visitors so she will keep her strength up.

If you do swing by you may get to see Marta as she will allow, please don't be put off if she has the no visitor sign up. Marta is just trying to sleep as she has a chance, I guess it will be best said that she will slowly see all of you, its just going to take time and that is something that we seem to have a lot of now. Do keep the visit short for the next few weeks.

The missed surgery on her right arm is now rescheduled for Tuesday. It will be the first of a few needed to rebuild the forearm. Marta's right forearm has about 3 inch's of bone missing so we really don't know if in the end her arm will be a little shorter or not. The good news is we will have an arm.

I'll try to get another update posted this afternoon as I have more details.

Thanks Ed

I met Marta in the mid 80's when I was an LCSO Reserve Officer and I remember her as always being willing to help out the "new guy."
I am very glad to know she is improving.
Thanks for this blog to keep us updated.

We will continue to pray for a fast and complete recovery.
