Marta has a touch of the flu today and she would like all to give her another day to get on track so she can have visitors. We are really close to getting her strength up to par so she can see all of you and feels bad to have you hold off.
I am sure you can also understand the right arm surgery that was scheduled for today will be back on track next week. I know the news has been really good so far and Marta is amazing, already doing things that were a few weeks off. We still hope to have Marta out of the hospital in February and on to a rehab facility after that.
Marta's little dog Lucy is very lonely and wants her to come home , rumor has it Lucy is planning a dog sneak attack on the hospital for this weekend. I'm sure photo's will be taken.More to report later.

Oh man, Lucy and Marta are going to have a reunion, so sweet! I bet there won't be a dry eye in the house. So great.

Marta B! I have been watching to see your progress and I am so grateful for your recovery and for the love that seems to be coming from every direction. Gaston is coming to Las Vegas to help me drive home on the 18th, and I am looking forward to getting to see you. I can see that you are in very good hands, but I miss your smiling face. Jerry and Iris send their love and said you are welcome at the Phillips Hotel anytime.
Smooches! Katie
Well, I bet Ms. Lucy will be so excited to see her Mom. I am sure that will be a very emotional day. I am so glad the recovery is doing well. I will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
I am assuming that Lucy will be playing the roll of seeing eye dog to Ed. Can't wait to see that picture. We're all sending good thoughts and heartfelt prayers to you, Marta. It sounds as though you are amazing your docs by outpacing their recovery expectations... I'm shocked, not:)
A big thanks to Eileen Bartko for setting up Bello services for our girl. It gives all of us who want to help a way to tell Marta we're thinking of her.
Fondly,
Tammy
