4:30 pm Saturday.

Sorry its taken me so long to get you any information today. We had a pretty busy day, Marta as you can see was up in a wheelchair for an extended time. She may very well strangle me for the photo you can see but I'm not much of a hair stylist. That's soon to be taken care of, thanks all of you and Bree from Bello.

Marta was a little busy as a lot of folks are trying to come see her, be patient and come to see her over the next couple of weeks, she still gets tired quickly. Remember we have only been at the rehab facility 1 1/2 days. We still have many days before Marta goes back to the hospital and eventually home. I still can't believe how many friends she has & how concerned you all are.

Speaking of big weeks, guess what we did !!!!!! Marta & I went to the foot store. Yep, the old one was 49 years old with alot of steps on it. Well we have upgraded to the 2008 model, comes factory original with 5 toes and a top speed that is fast enough to walk Lucy the dog without using the jogging gear. We should be able to test drive by next Friday. We will probably have to send it back to have normal fine tuning done. I hear there is always a toenail that will have to have the paint buffed a little.

Marta's spirit continues to improve as she is continues to rest. I believe that she will be all ready to go Monday when she starts the long and hard physical rehab portion of her recovery. Marta claims that she is looking forward to holding toilet paper all on her own. It's always the little things.

Thanks for your thoughts, Ed

You look BEAUTIFUL and just like the Marta I've grown to know and love. I think Ed has done a great job with the "do". It warms my heart to see your infectious smile and the sunlight behind you. (I often told Maddie, during her hospital stay, that "light helps you grow and heal". I truly believe that's true!)

I can't wait to visit! The girls and I are anxious to bring you goodies, pretty flowers and food from the outside...shhhh, we won't tell if you won't tell!

Great news about your new foot! (Do you get air shocks in it?)

So glad to open your blog and read the great news.

Keeping the faith
