Good morning,

Still on the very limited visitor program, as Marta is still sleeping a lot.

Marta is pretty tired today, very busy day yesterday with tests and procedures. All these with the goal of moving to a rehab facility in the next week. Again, then back to the hospital for some more work.

We did get both casts removed yesterday and Marta is in a boot for the left leg, which will be the case for the next 8-10 weeks before she can start to put weight on it. The right leg is just in a protective stocking and awaiting another 2 weeks to pas so she can start to rehab that leg.

We have worked with Marta's left hand each day and it is now to the point where she can dial the phone, don't be surprised if you get a call, local only, darn hospital. So many have left messages and thoughts for Marta she will slowly check in with all of you.

Please don't try to call her just yet as we don't want to mess up a good nap, they are so hard to come by with all the doctors, nurse's, and therapist she is seeing. We'll let you know. I assume that as soon as we hit the rehab facility the gates will come open.
