1-9-2008 evening
Not much to report. Marta has rested well today although seems to have an upset tummy and a slight fever. We just meet with the surgeons for tomorrow. They do seem very upbeat. The right wrist is so destroyed that even the best plans will be adjusted during surgery. Some decisions on Marta arm will be made as they go during the procedure. Time has been moved to 1:00 in the afternoon ( get to sleep in ) so the Ducks may beat the Cal Bears before you have an update.

Barclays all, We will be thinking good thoughts all day and wish Marta a quick and helpful procedure. I have good info from my surgeon friend that Marta is getting the best care possible. Lots more napping is in order and the time for visits will come down the road. Marta is constantly in our hearts and we will see her as soon as she feels up to it. Lots of love, Ron and Sarah
