Marta is busy with all the rehab and really not much else to report. Working to get up on her right leg as it s healing faster than her left. Electric wheelchair rides ore the order of the afternoon. I will try to get a photo soon and post it.

Marta has been able to see a number of you as she is a little more accessible for folks now. It does tire her a little but boy is the friendship and conversation a welcome addition to her life.

As always thanks for your thoughts, Ed

Hi Marta!

I'm so happy to read about your progress each day. It's truly heartwarming and makes me smile.

I can't wait to see you. The girls and I will call to make sure there's a good time to visit. And, of course, Maddie won't let me visit without her. She's drawn some cute "masterpieces" for your room, too.

Love to you and many healing prayers, too!

Hey Marta B! We logged on tonight to check how you are doing and see that you are as determined and brave a woman as you ever were! I have made my move back to Eugene and started my job with Pre-Trial. I get to lecture people about how drugs ruin lives and get paid for it! I know you have lots of visitors and recovery to concentrate on....so please just know that I love you, as ever, and you are in my prayers for continuing recovery. Jolene sends her love as well and we hope to get to see you soon.

Looking good Marta. Got wheelchair races organized yet?

Want to get over and at least say hi but will give you a chance to settle in. Keep up the good work -still praying for you every day.

Marta B,

What a joy it was to log on and see your smiling face. Thanks to Ed and the family for the blog - it's wonderful. Deb has also been keeping us posted on your progress, however there is nothing like a visit. Until then, patrol wanted me to pass this along:

Speed limit in a hospital corridor is 25 feet per minute.

VBR is a miracle.

Gill has yet to impound a wheelchair.

Missing you and praying that you will feel better soon. Love, Di-

Hello Marta B!

I'm so glad you are doing better!!! I was very sad when Deb called me and told me what happend. I know you are a fighter and knowing how determined you are to finish a "project" this will be no problem! I'll come by and see you as soon as I can!

Marta, I am so glad that you are progressing so well. I'll borrow a radar gun if you want to start setting speed records with that chair. Ed has been wonderful keeping us all informed. You have a lot more of us in the LCSO family pulling for you and your family than you might think.

Keep up the great work and we'll see ya soon.
