Emily and Family,
We are so happy to hear about all the progress that Marta has made. We think and pray for Marta everyday and have shed many tears for your family during this difficult time. If there is anything that we can do, please do not hesitate to ask.

Emily..your blog is a wonderful work. Happy New Year to you, Michael & and your Dad!!!
I, probably amoung a bunch of other folks, have had a hard time wrapping my brain around the tradegy that occurred to your family. I have known your mom for a bazillion years..yes..even shared a house with her in the early 80's...a house we rented from your grandmother and grandfather. Carol & Clyde were pretty cool people.
Now, as the New Year approaches..I can hear my goof ball neighbors setting off explosives (where are those sheriff guys?) And...I pray for your moms heart, spirit, bones and tissue to be mended in the year 2008.
I retired in September and have time to spare. When your mom goes to re-hab...I'll be there to hang out and, basically, drive her crazy. She'll feel right at home :)
Thank you for posting the updates. I check them every day.

Hello,
I received a note from 911 Cares and would like to express my heartfelt prayers and thoughts for you and your family at this time of your life. The well wishes from people from all over the world helped us through the miracle of my niece's recovery after her accident. Miracles do happen and I am sure your Mom will feel the special blessings we are all sending for her strength and quick healing. The road is long with much pain and therapy ahead, and yet it is do-able. My prayers will be with you all throughout this wonderful New Year.
Sincerely,
Colleen Castro
