Friday, May 2nd

Good Morning! Hope this blog note finds you well and looking forward to a sunny weekend. I had a nice week. For some reason I had two free days without ANY physical therapy. I spent Wednesday and Thursday with two different girlfriends. We went out to lunch, shopping, hung out, saw a movie, etc. It was great.

Yesterday, I was at Sacred Heart for leg physical therapy (left leg) and was able to walk on a treadmill for five minutes (slowly). Don my therapist continues to be encouraging in pushing me to get back to "normal" (walking).

Today I have wrist physical therapy and can expect things to be a little more aggressive in terms of what they can do to the wrist given the good news last week (bones are healing really well). Ed and I will see John the leg guy this afternoon. I think things are slightly improving in that area.

I've been having dreams about driving so that might not be to far off in my future. I don't have a fear of being in a car nor of driving, just concerned about how this will work with the prosthetic leg.

Warm Regards,
Marta B.
