Thursday, March 20th

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. It's been an emotional couple of days. Yesterday, was my official last day of work at the Sheriff's Office. Today was a bit rough in terms of realizing it's been three months since the day of the accident. As most of you know I was very, very, close to my Mother and I miss her very much. Had lots of tears and then was rescued by my sister-in-law Denise who came over and took me out to Starbucks and a couple of other errands.

I had several visitors yesterday which is always fun and uplifting. Thank you to my cousin Lori for stopping by with lunch and my former boss and friend Phyllis, Jeanne, and grandaughter Jaida. You all made my day!

I've been busy with physical therapy this week both on the left wrist and left leg. I had an appointment today with John Robert the prothestics guy. We're still trying to fine tune the comfort of my leg so I can really start getting out walking more. Things are improving.

Michael moves home after a Math final tomorrow (Spring break). We take Emily to the airport on Saturday as she is going to Lake Tahoe and San Francicso with a girlfriend. Ed continues to be my rock and the "funny" guy in the family. I'm sure his blogs are a little more interesting then mine.

Take Care
Marta B.
