Friday Afternoon,

Marta is doing more weight bearing exercise's on her left leg with great success. She is also starting to really work on her left hand and arm. All this in preparation for the Monday arrival at Oregon Rehab Center located at Sacred Heart Hospital. Much energy there will be spent on relearning the art of walking.

Yesterday a very dear friend of Marta's, Chris Nelson from Redmond came over to spend most of the day and really put Marta in great spirits. Chris and Marta were roommates & co-workers when Marta & I meet and were in each others weddings.

Well, speaking of great spirits, Jeanine Harder brought her friend Carin over to River park this afternoon. Carin was setting out to give Marta a facial and other fun pamperings. I saw no reason to stay. Thanks to Jeanine, Marta is stretching the 50th birthday another week !!!!!!!!!!
