1-29-2008 Am

Marta had a pretty busy day Monday with lots of visitors, it really is nice to start to see her reconnect with the outside world. Some friends got a chance to chat that have not been able to see Marta since mid-December, yep, 39 days ago.

Today like yesterday will be physical therapy, rest and hopefully a few more folks bringing good vibes from the outside world. I'm sure more electric wheelchair cruising as well.

Wednesday a big meeting with Dr. Wuest, Dr. Butter & Dr Tavakolian the 3 primary surgeons on her case. Marta gets to take a Handi-cab ride to the Slocum building for the meeting, it will be nice to get a little fresh air and of course any scenery change is fun. We of course hope to hear all is going well.

Hi Marta

Got cabin fever? I know you are working really hard to gain back strength and relearn 'stuff' we all take for granted. It takes time but will happen. An outing to Slocum tomorrow? Being outside and seeing different scenery is always good. OK so it's a Doctors Office and not VRC and not near as much fun but it's out!

Still want to come see you but I'm going to wait a bit longer.

Hey Marta B!!!!

That new picture of you is much better than the last one. That one looks much more like the Marta I know!!! I'm glad you finally are getting out, even if it is only for a short time.
